Hi Guys,

I have a solution running 8.8.1.32 (but I have seen this in previous versions as well) and for some reasons, in some product detail pages, the Related products loop returns some weird selection of products (always the same products), unrelated to the product that is displayed.

Is there any dependency? Like the primary group that is set on the product? I assumed the GroupID user for connecting them is the one taken from the URL.

Here is an example: http://australdev.dotfusion.ro/catalog/arhivare/bibliorafturi/biblioraft-a4-pvc-75mm-ubers

Hi Adrian

It sounds more like 'bad' data - if data is integrated you could have some data in db that is causing these to show up - because of double productIDs or something like that.

Hi Nicolai,

Actually it is related to the Primary Group. If there is no primary group set, it displays a default list of products. probably the fisrt products found.

I have tested by setting a Primary Group for the product I mentioned earlier and everything is back to normal.

Now I need to figure out a way to set a primary group automatically.
