Index search - is not possible to sort by user defined?

Hi

Is this not possible to do? I presume the sorting on the paragaph module has no effect when publishing an index in the product catalogue, and that the soring has to be set in the query?

 

In other words - is it not possible to sort by user defined, when publishig a index in a product catalogue?
