Hi Lars

Thanks for the bug report. Registered as TFS-28549. We'll get that fixed

Hi

In v9.2.6 the bug registered as TFS-28549 is back again. And in v9.2.8 the section "FRONTEND SETTINGS" (see screenshot in start of this thread) is completely missing!

Bump!

I can't set up a login page! I am now using DW v9.2.9

You should use a login dialog or setup a paragraph with a user management module with login feature instead of using this template.

This setting is only there for compatibility and is actually from back before designs & layout - and was re-introduced by mistake for designs and layout because a bug went through.

Hi Nicolai

Now I am looking at this again. And I don't understand how to set this up, if I should not use the setting that you say is obsolete. If I don't set a login template on every page that has to be behind extranet login, how can I then get a login form when a user requests a page that is behind extranet login?

Hi Lars

Take a look at the wrap solution.

If you want to display a login dialog in the layout template for all pages (??) you make a conditional in the layout template and render the login form if the user is not logged in.

This "old" feature renders the login template in a random content placeholder... Not the solution you want.

Hi Nicolai

You wrote earlier in this thread that the setting "...was re-introduced by mistake...". But shouldn't the setting "Show this page in menu" exist in DW9? This setting is still not inherited to subpages.

Yes, that should work, but not inherited.
