Dont think it is possible now, but would have been a nice feature.

When adding assortments in the current solution you build the assortment catalog that a specific customer or customer group would like to see.
Sometimes it is the other way around. It would have been of use if we could choose to say that this assortment is made up by products the customer would not like to see.

I know this is an old thread, but it would be nice to be able to add a negative list of products the customers are not allowed to see, even though they appear in the attached product groups.

In my setup I have a customer, who shares an assortment with other customers. There is one product though, that only this specific customer is allowed to see, but not the other customers sharing the same assortment.

Then create 2 assortments and make one guy member of both of them!
