I may have posted this request before but as it seems it is not solved yet, I will reiterate it. If it's already solved, please forgive my omission and point me in the right direction.
We have a publishing project that will be based on articles. In the thousands to be specific. If I will add all these articles as pages under a generic "Articles" page, the tree navigation will become unusable. That's why I was thinking to ask for a different way of displaying child nodes, outside of the tree navigation. Something similar with the orld News module that solved this issue pretty decent.
I am sure it's not an easy fix. I was thinking of adding a "Display child as list" checkbox on the page or on the ItemType could be a solution for this.
