GlobalSettings file turns empty?

Hello,

On a solution of ours I've experienced that the GlobalSettings file of said solution turns empty and causes the site to crash..

Luckily it's not a live site, however I have no idea what could cause the file to just go blank / empty? 

Any suggestions or things I should look out for. The solution is running 8.7.2.8.

We have seen this sometimes - usually because of missing disk space, antivirus (Norton & McAfee are bad) and antimalware software that can lock the files. It could also be 2 sites running on the same /Files.

Hi Nicolai,

OK, there should be enough disk space (30gigs) where the Files folder is located and from what I can tell there are no antivirus software installed (McAfee or Norton). From what I can see there is only this one site pointing to this /Files folder. I will look into it if the error keeps returning.
