Bug in ecom productlist sorting?

Is there a bug in the ecommerce productlist sorting? I have a productlist here that is displaying productlist from a smart search, and both the product catalog and the smart search is set to sort by the Date Field (custom field), but this is not working

Anyone else having this problem, or is this a Known bug? Or am i doing something wrong?

Well, you have 3 searches combined and the sort from each smart search is different...

You need to create a combined smartsearch if you want any change to get this working. Or use the new indexing.

 I am not quite shure what you mean. Could you ellaborate?

On this page, I only have one smart search and the sort is for the Date field http://nordlysid.net.dynamicweb-cms.com/trips/ongoing/sightseeing

But still, the sorting is wrong. What am i doing wrong?

I think it is how Lucene handles dates and the implementation in the old index.

If you just choose a group, it works fine.

You have smart searches with database on top DW gets confused. On your sightseeing page I've set a checkbox to let lucene handle all of it - see dump.
