Printing a list of all orders for certain products

Another ecom quetion here from me.

Is it possible to print a list of all orders for a product, on a product basis?

Lets say I have many products, and the shop is set up so that I will typically get 20 to 40 orders pr product. I want to be able quickly get an overview over who has ordered a product, and I want to do this with all products. Is this possible, and if yes - how can it be done?

That is currently not possible - only using some magic using SQL in i.e. DataManagement publishing module.

ok, and is it maybe possible in the order list to use filtering or search to show orders containing a certain product?

No, not as it is now.

If you add a custom field on the order, and during the checkout updates a hidden field with the product numbers being checked out, you can search on that field in the order list.

Tacky, but it should work...

Ok, you mean if we assign the productnumber or numbers to the billing adress via a field for this - it will work, because search - searches the billing adress - but not the products in an order? Is that a correct?
