Product List sorting (products with quotes)

Hi guys,

We are sorting a product list (from query string) by the title. The issue are for products that begins with double quote. e.g. "test" product. It always comes in front of the other products.

There is any sort configuration that make the possibility to ignore special characters?

If you are using the index you might be able to use an analyzer on the field that removes the characters... Otherwise, my advice would be not to include those characters.

Hi Nicolai,

Even with the set to the field be analyzed the order doenst work correctly. Besides that have a even more strange order (please see http://screencast.com/t/bY3lRqcr8).

You cannot just set it to analyzed. You have to have an analyzer that will ONLY remove characters that you want to remove.

Analyzers do a LOT of things depending on which you choose. More @DWTC Thursday & Friday :-).
