User Group Prices don't work

Hello,

I have a product whose price is normally 14. I set up a price of 10 for a specific user group. To test it I log as a user which is a member of this group. However when I go to the product page, I still see the default price.

I have tried building the index again, no result. There are no time or quantity limit for this price. Furthermore, it is not a problem of which template tag I display : f I set up a price on a specific user, it shows : it is only when I do it for a whole group that it doesn't.

Any idea where that could come from ?

Thanks !

Hi Gaetan

I've sent it to QA to give it a test and see if we can reproduce it. Will get back to you.

Hi all,

I've tested the issue on solution based on 8.8.0.7 recently released and have good results when source for product catalog module is product group/specific product/index. Please, have a look at the proof - http://screencast.com/t/rUs1DDiPrj.

Gaetan,

if you use index as the source then ensure that it's actual - try to rebuild product index in MC-System-Searching-Products and product repository index manually.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I rebuilt both indexes manually, but still no prices. I'm using 8.8.0.5. I can show you on my solution if you want.

You need to create a case.

I have managed to solve the issue by myself. After doing some more precise testing, it turns out that the usergroupid present in my data source had trailing spaces (which explains why I didn't see any problem in the database). I trimmed it before using it and now it's ok.
It was a confusing issue because when looking at the product prices in the ecom administration I did see the right user group names, so I guess that somewhere Dynamicweb does a Trim by itself.

Thank you !
