Products pages in Sitemap.xml

Hi,

 

We have a website where we are trying to set the product detail pages in the sitemap with no success. We have:

  • Set up primary pages in the groups
  • Set up primary groups in products
  • Set up ecom navigation to include products

 

What are we missing?

To set the checkbox to include the products in sitemap.xml?

Hi Nicolai,

 

I have another issue now. I have a product with 2 variants and the Customized URL settings are to "Ecommerce products (ProductID)" , so we don't want a URL for each variant. It happens that I now have 3 repeated URL's in sitemap.xml, ex:

  • http://domain.com/our-products/tea/ceylon-orange-pekoe

 

The product also belongs to 4 groups and a primary is defined. I don't think that was it because there 4 groups but 3 repeated URLs in sitemap.xml

 

Could this be a bug?

Hi Nicolai,

 

I also noticed that despite the primary group I get different URLs through the sitemap and navigating to the product group

  • http://domain.com/our-products/tea/pure-black/ceylon-orange-pekoe - if I go through the navigation; expected URL
  • http://domain.com/our-products/tea/ceylon-orange-pekoe - from the sitemap.xml

 

The canonical meta data is accurate though, but I would have expected 1 unique URL. Am I assuming things right?
