Screen resolution optimization?

Which screen resolution is the UI optimized for?
40,4 % of users has a screen resolution of 1366x768 or below on their desktop/laptop computer so this ought to be the minimum resoution the UI is optimized for.
Many elements are taking up way to much space and thus minimizing the effective workspace.
Also many lists are floating around in to a messy view

Hi,

The requirements for DW9 are:

Supported resolutions
The Dynamicweb administration interface is designed for a minimal width of 1280 pixels.

Backend browser compatibility
The following browsers are supported by Dynamicweb for backend administration:

Microsoft Edge: Only latest
Internet Explorer: 11.0+
Mozilla Firefox: Only latest
Google Chrome: Only latest
Safari for Mac: Only latest
At present, no other browsers are supported for backend administration.

There are some issues with the ribbon bar in the beta version, but they are working at it.

Kind regards,
Merethe

Hi Merethe

I have made a video of the UI in 1280x720.

Comments on DW9 11/4/16:
- Many views sidescrolls
- Elements at the top and bottom (save) uses a lot og space - should be at the top to save space and not confuse editores used to DW8
- Save in ecom is at the top, in other places at the bottom
- Move page is not eady if you have many wesites and you need to move many pages from one to another. Each time you start all over selecting site etc.. One time a could not escape out og the move dialog because i could not scroll.
- News module - cateogori content gives a compilation error.
- Items in Settings: we need to be able to remove access for editors

Hi Guys I can add to that that some modal windows are hidden behind the Sticky Header and Footer and you have no way of closing the window or resizing the window.

My laptop resolution is 1366X768

I have added a screenshot.

Thanks,

Adrian

We are aware. We have been changing modals and dialogs quite a bit last week and will have a test on smaller resolution screens.
