I can´t find it in the Demo, so that´s why I post this :)

Hopefully, it has just been moved

It is gone right now from the UI because of some frontend changes going on - I was considering removing it though because in some layouts it does not work, not everything can be edited and so on... But no decissions made yet.

Any one else with input?

Ok, but as I say - it is the one thing that makes costumers say "this is really easy" -  AND, it is a fantastic tool for making pages and text publising look exactly the way, you want it to, as you see it in context and it is 100% wysiwig. We have quite a few costumers that will come screaming, if they can no longer use this tool to style and set up text precisely as they want to.

I agree with Nicolai on this one, it seems confusing when only certain fields can be edited. 
Besides haivng multiple ways to do one thing is kind of bad (frontend editing can be broken and you might notice if you are editing from the backend). 

I see your point, but still - there is no arguing the fact, that it´s the only way to edit text and see how your end result will be while you are editing. So it´s used for a different purpose than backend editing.

We have a some costumers who curse having to switch between backend and front end when they try to set up the text in the exact way they want to. Some of them complain about using hours switching between backend and frontend. To them, the wysiwyg has been a revelation.

You can hide the option somewhere in the back if you want, or even make it a secret short cut option that we only give to those who really appreciate it, and really need it. Just don´t remove it completely.

Pease do not remove front end editing. Customers love it and is a great thing to show when selling the product.

The argument that it is not working in all instances like e-com and items should be turned around. Make it work everywhere and everybody is happy.
