User cannot loggin after ForgotPassword was used

Hi Guys,

Have anyone ever experienced something like this?

This is quite hard to replicate. But atleast I noticed some things in common.

After users used:ForgotPassword - forgot password feature.

They get an email with new password.

Than they are trying to loggin with that password but can't login, cause system said wrong password.

Than in Admin, we change password manually - but it still the same issue would arrise.

And we made sure That this IS the password user received, and not new password generated if first attempt was unsuccessfull.

On login form and password field, I set autocomplete="off"

And it still woun't login.

Have anyone ever experience something simmilar to that?

Or maybe anyone has any suggestions on what can be wrong?

/Dmitrij

It is the wrong username or password. Very simple...

Do you have a link?

Hi Nicolai,

Well, now it works. f.eks. but like 30 minutes ago it did not.

I am more than sure that the username and password where correct, cause I was not the only one who attempted to login. but it refused to login aniway.

With link, well that is the issue that sometimes it does not work, and sometimes it does.

But I will try getting a link as soon as I get an issue on one of the sites.

Agreed. But when customer calls live, and we talk the same time, I am able to get the same error.

Soon after... it's gone, and maybe will arrise if user attemps to use forgot password again...

But I will try making a screencast, and will send you one as soon next time I encounter it. hope it's ok...
