Different VAT for diffferent product Categories in the same country

Hi Guys,

I have this scenario where we have in ROmania differentiated VAT for varius product groups. General VAT is 20% but certaind product types can have different VAT values (9%, 5% etc)

I tried to use VAT groups but it looks like I can only have one VAT group per country.

From the back-end interface I can set various VAT groups and set different values for the same country but it looke like the second VAT group is always ignored and the Default VAT group is return.

Any advice on how to implement this?

Thanks,
Adrian

I made more tests and it looks like the order is saved correctly with differentiated VAT values for each orderline.

The problem is when editing the order because it ignores the VAT groups on products and it calculates always with system VAT instead of the VAT group that is stored on product.

And I think this is a bug

Hi Adrian

You can set the default VAT group on the product group - see dump 1. And you can set the VAT group for each product on the product.

I'll have it tested if VAT groups are not respected on edit order.

Hi Nicolai,

I have tested and VAT groupa allocation on product or product group works.

The problem is with order editing. That's where the problem appears.

I understand the case is already assigned.

Thanks,

Adrian
