Assortments and new index

Hi,

 

How can I get assortments to work with the new index?

We set an expression for the AssortmentID to match the AssortmentsID Macro using almost all conditions (contains, equal, match any,...) and never got the expected results. We were comparing against a paragraph with product groups to be sure.

You add the assortment to the search.

Hi Nicolai,

 

Weird, it ended working, just not right away. Is there anything else that we need to check/config? My steps were:

  • Go to assortments
  • Make a few adjustments and save
  • Build my index instances
  • Check frontend

 

I ended up noticing there's a shceduled task add-in named "Build eCommerce Assortment Items". Do we need to run that as well?

When you change the assortments, you need to rebuild them first, then the index.
