Front end editing not possible on item text field

Front end editing is not possible on item text fields, only on rich text fields. This means that the user can not edit headers etc. in text fields.

How can i make this possible or can you add this to the next DW version.

It is currently not supported.

This still seems to be the case? When i click the "frontend editing"-button i cant change anything on the page that is shown.. no headline or paragraphs. Will this be fixed? Customer is asking for Wysiwyg-editor...
