Marketing 'split test' problem

Hi. 

Customer is on 8.5.1.9. 

When setting up a Split Test based on pages, the variant shows as garbage (see screenshot). 

When on IE, it can happen that a "Download this file" diaglog appears, instead of normal content.

 

Any suggestions?

Looks like a paragraph with custom code - and it may have a pageview instance...?

I'm sorry Nicolai, but I don't know what you mean. I setup a random page for this. Don't know about custom code or pageview instances..

Ok. You are using page based split tests. Please make an update - you are on 8.5.1.9 - newest is 8.5.1.25 or even better 8.6. See release page some of the fixes that has been made for split test.

Hi again,

 

This is what I found in the release notes:

 

Bug: 16167 
Area: Online Marketing - Split testing
Title: Error when viewing a page with content based split test
Description: Fixed a bug that would result in an error when trying to view a split test page.
Workaround: None

 

However, this has been solved in version 8.5.1.6, which is older than 8.5.1.9, the customer's version.

 

What do you suggest?

Did an update to 8.5.1.25 ----------- No effect

Did an update to 8.6.1.19 ----------- No effect

 

So, this is still a problem for this customer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
