RE: email marketing and smart search setup

Hi

I'm trying to setup email marking to send out 5 different emails with specific interval like

1 email when signing up (already done with the voucher guide)
2nd email after 3 days of signing up and 1st email recieved
3rd email after 9 days of signing up and 2nd email recieved
And so on

Is there any guide to setup smartsearches that will do the trick, can't seem to get my head around it.

Regards
Peter

Hi Peter

No, there is no guide. I will ask Service desk to see if they can help you out.

Hi Nicolai

That would be great, I was looking at mailchimp and searching around and can see that this particular autoresponder is used more and more, so I think a simple guide like the auto voucher guide would help alot of DW users :o)

Hi Peter

As you suggests, you should use the SmartSearch function to resolve this:

You should use Dynamicweb expressions that supports @Code for advanced functionality.

At the moment the following field behavior for email marketing are implementet:

*Recived a specific email
*email received timestamp
*Opened a specific email
*Email opened timestamp
*Clicked any link in a email
*Timestamp for click on any link
*Clicked a specific link in email
*Timestamp for click on a specific link

We are working to improve this with a step by step guide with examples.

Kind Regards

Hi Kristian

The less geeky guides would help, if customers with less @code experience is to be able to use the system :o)
