Multiple GlobalSettings.aspx files?

Hi,

Currently we don't checkin the GlobalSettings.aspx in source control because there are environment specific settings. Is it possible to split this? One file with all project settings and one file with just de enviornment specific settings like database connection credentials.

Hi Roy,

It is not currently in the roadmap, but we are looking at different ways to improve the development and deployment tools, including looking at ways make it simpler to have multiple developers working on the same fileset on different computers.

If this is important to you, I recommend posting a feature request in the relevant forum, as we go through that forum regularly. That way, it will not be lost, and other developers have a chance to comment/make suggestions as well :-)

Dotenv would be nice for this, for example: https://github.com/Chandu/DotEnv
