I get the following message when I try to checkout using PayPal: 10002 security error security header is not valid

Anyone has any ideea about that? Is there anything missing in the PayPal setup or is it in Dynamicweb?

Thanks,

Adrian

This error indicates an issue with the login information you are using for your PayPal connection. Check the credentials you have speficied on the checkouthandler settings and check that you do not have spaces etc.

Thanks a lot Nicolai.

That was the issue. For some reason, the informations I have entered in the interface were not saved correctly in the database.

After a few tries, I have managed to save the data.

Thanks a lot,

Adrian

Hello Nicolai,

It looks there is more to this than I expected.

If I check the "Test" option, the system directs me to the PayPal page.

If I uncheck that option, it returns the same error: 10002. Security error. Security header is not valid.

Any ideeas?

Thanks,

Adrian

Nevermind. I think I got it.

There is a different set of credentials once you go live. Read the manual and it is now clear.

Thanks,

Adrian
