Itemtype: Metadata error

Hi Dynamicweb,

During the creation of an itemtype with many fields a Dynamicweb error is displayed when viewing a publisher or a detail.

When viewing the itemtype in the backend everything is fine. Managing the itemtype is possible. The itemtype in the management center is viewed. Only when viewing the itemlist of itemdetail errors about metadata are showing:

System name of the target item cannot be an empty string.
Parameter name: metadata

We tried everything (iis reset, application pool, adjustments, rights, accessability etc, attach blank or default templates) nothing removes the error.

Please help.

Does the item type has a system name?

Can you provide the item type XML?

The problem regarding TFS#17551 has now been fixed in version 8.6.1.12
