Exception: Root element is missing.

Hi guys,

A customer called and said that website is down.

Has anyone ever had this kind of exception?

I am getting it whenever I try to open a website or a website/Admin

Ok, this error is generated because system is not able to read some kind of XML file.

In our case it was GlobalSettings.aspx

Server bacame ovefulled during the night.

Dynamicweb is "regenerating" GlobalSettings.aspx - as far as I understood.

For that reason, it had no available place to write.

GlobalSettings.aspx was 0 KB in size - empty - therefore system was generating this error message.
