Hello,

Do you guys know if the search in DW support fuzzy search or if it will be implemented in a future release?

Hi Nicolai,

The search from the product catalog. The application version is 8.5.1.3.

Hi Dan

There are 2 search features in for Ecommerce - or 3 actually.

  1. Ecomquery (&ecomquery=bike in URL),
  2. Indexed search (Lucene based indexing and search engine) and
  3. Weighted Search (genereal search module which also searches the product catalog).

1+3 are database based and does not support fuzzy searches. 2 based on Lucene could, but does not and will not get it.

For 8.6 we released a new search and filtering implementation for DW to replace 2 in the list above. The new implementation will get the fuzzy search feature.
