Invalidate caching on page update

Hi DW,

A client of ours has caching set to "Entire page - 7 days", for performance reasons.
When they update a text area within an item on the page, they have to wait for up to 7 days, for this change to happen.
Any thoughts on automatic invalidation of cache, when an element on a given page is updated?

Thanks in advance :)

If they right click the page, and choose properties and save & close, the cache should update by itself. Also if they click the preview button on the paragraph list/item edit, the content of that page is updated. If you publish something on the page, with data from items on other pages, the publishing will not be updated until the page invalidates.

There is no reason to set the cache time to 7 days - 15 mins is more than enough.
