Problem with logging into admin.

Hi,

I am installing a new Dynamic web solution following the documents.

I have set up SQL server databases from the zip file that I downloaded from the website. The site is showing up, but when I try to enter the admin I get the following error:

The webserver is missing ODBC driver. Please install the following driver:

                      AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe

Can someone please provide me with a solution to this? I have installed the file it asks for, but still no luck!

Hi there,

Installing the Access drivers always fixes it for me. You're not accidentally reloading the error page when you try it again, are you? That caught me a few times. You need to access /Admin again to see if it worked.

If it still fails, you can also change your application pool in IIS to run as a 32-Bit solution. Not recommened, as a 64-Bit version runs quite a bit faster.

Cheers,

Imar

Thanks Imar,

Changing the app pool to run 32-bit applications did the job. I believe that it is because the Office installed on my computer is 32-bit.

Thank you so much!

Yash.
