Can you make translations available per logged in user?

Hi guys,

My overview in translations is quit unusable.
I've got so many language nodes in my translation xml that both the column header values as the translation keys are unreadable.
Even when you scope your list by a search the keys are cut off and you'll need to click them all to find the one you need.
Collapsing the left menu doesn't help me either.

There are content managers responsible per country in the back end, so what I actually want is to restrict the columns per logged in backend user.
The Suiss content manager should only see and edit the de-CH, fr-CH and it-CH language nodes from the language.xml file.
By only showing one, two or three columns there should be enough space horizontally.

Are there options for this, or do I have to make my own custom module which edits the language.xml file.
Because as it shows in my attached image it is useless to me.

Thanks in advance,
P.

Hi Peter

Will take a look at the issue with not being able to see the key. That is considered a bug.

Editors that should translate are not meant to go into management center. They right click a website in the content tree and choose "translate". That will pop a translation window with only the regional settings for that website.

Thanks for pointing that out, this is what I need.
Feel a bit stupid now ...
Fixing the keys in the CM part would be nice. Thnx.
