Bread crumb in eCom

Hi

When you open a product in eCom a bread crumb path is shown in the top, but if you open the product from the 'All products' list the path is missing. It would be nice if the path there.

Hi Thomas

A product can be in any number of categories - so if you open it from all products, we do not know which it is - that is why you do not see all of it...

Well i thought of that after I posted the request ;)

But I still think it would be great to have the path if the product is only member of one group.

Hi Thomas,

I think that you can make it work if you specify the primary group on your products and make sure you use the Ecom:Product.LinkGroup tag in your templates.

Maybe we need another checkbox to enable "Automatically set the first related group added to a product as the primary group of that product" - or is it there already? :)

@Morten: That works in frontend only I guess. The "Automatically set the first related group added to a product as the primary group of that product" feature is in 8.6 actually - in the frontend it does this automatically. And we just added to the backlog to also do this for sitemap.xml showing products.

@Thomas: I've added it to the backlog for 8.7
