Variant sort order with Filters

Hi,

 

We have a list of products (from a smart search after filtering), but when we list it, choosing Variant Visibility : Visible, the variants are not sorted accuratly.

 

We managed to reorder in Razor, but that only works for the products/variants in that page, so we had do increase the number of products per page to avoid paging. Can you confirm this bug?

Not sure I understand

By what field did you sort? And what was the mistake?

Hi Nicolai,

 

We are sorting by "User defined", however the problem is not with the sorting on the product collection, but the variants are not

 

In that specific page, we are listing 3 products, but have "variant visibility" as "Show", which result in 11 loop items. The problem with the sorting is within the variants. They are not the same as the backend.

 

In this demo website, I commented our sorting code, and you can see Dynamicweb mixes up the result.
(Beneath the product name you can see "Light #1, 2, 3 and 4 which are the variant's names. They are not in the correct order)

FYI: In the details page, the variants loop are correct.
