Quickpay - add Mobile Pay as payment method

Hi guys,

Well my title says it all - our clients start to ask for beeing able to receive Mobile Pay payments via Quickpay.

I know that Quickpay supports it - we just need Dynamicweb to be able to handle it too.

Hi Jacob

We are implementing the checkout handler for Quickpays new payment window in this sprint, TFS#16968.

Mobile pay in quickpay is only available in the new payment system from Quickpay which is currently just in beta. So we cannot add it to the current payment windows from Quickpay. It is a total new implementation of their system, including administration, APIs, payment windows etc. So we also need a brand new implementation for DW which we work on as we speak.

It will at earliest be ready after easter.

Yes, just tested and due for 8.6.1.6 on May 5th.

One note - it is a really early release from Quickpay and it is not super stable yet. Be aware of that. So make an implemenation where Mobilepay is a new payment method that uses the new Quickpay window, and all other payments uses the old one.

Also you need to talk to Quickpay to get created on the new platform.

The new Quickpay platform is 'somewhat' stable. It generally works, but some minor features are introduced as we go along and they implement them.

I would suggest that you to begin with have 2 payments created in Dynamicweb. One for cards (Dankort, Visa/Dankort, MasterCard etc) using the old Quickpay, and one payment method for Mobilepay using the new implementation. In that way you will actually be using both Quickpay platforms, but only the new platform for mobilepay. To lower risk.

Sorry - I do not know who of our customers have implemented that. We cannot see if they have... We just know it is in use.

Anything in particular you want to know?

It is quite simple - in the payment window (of Quickpay), instead of selecting "Dankort" or "Visa" as payment, simply select "Mobilepay" - then you are asked to insert your mobile number and you do what you have to do on the phone, and get a receipt in the webshop similar to how you would when paying with a regular card.
