Localhost not working

Hi there,

We have an ecommerce solution configured to send e-mail from the cart. When we use localhost without user name and password, mail does NOT get sent. When I change to an external mail server with a user name and password, evrything works as expected. We can access the localhost mailserver from the local machine using telnet without a problem.

Is this a known issue with Dynamicweb? Any suggestions?

Not have that issue before.

What happens if you use 127.0.0.1, the machine ip or a hostname added in the hosts file?

It looks like I found it. I found an smtp settings element in web.config which seems to override the Management Center settings. I sent you an e-mail about it.
