Image handler bgcolor

Hi 

 

Working with the Image handler in product catalogues that requires a background color (transparent background images), we are forced to use PNG format, which takes an average of 10 times as much size.

 

If we had a bgcolor parameter to set it, we could get a faster images loadtime and size.

+1 This would be great to have as it gives to the best of both worlds: optimized JPG images and a custom background for display on a non-white background in the site.
