Hi.

I get a strange error.
If im not logged in and add a product to my cart with currency SEK and then try to log in with a customer who has USD, i get the following error:

Any idea how to solve this?
We're using DW 8.5.1.0 for the solution.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
Dan

Hi,

I can't reproduce this. I have tried on 8.5.1.0 as you can see on this video:
http://screencast.com/t/o1ozdl9X

I have also tried the latest hot fix (8.5.1.8) with no problems.

Do you have other steps to reproduce it compared to my steps in the video?

Kind regards,
Merethe

Hi.

No, you did the steps that i did to get it.
Add product to cart with SEK, login as customer who has USD as currency.

Do you think upgrading to the latest hotfix might help?

Hi,

We haven't fixed something special about this error as far as I know, but you can try and see if it helps.

If not, then we need a copy of the solution to investigate it.

Kind regards,
Merethe

Hi.

I've tried upgrading to the latest version, but i still get the same error.

I dont get the problem in my local environment, which makes it even stranger, even though ive used the same applicationfolder.
It only occurs on the server.

Best regards

Hi Dan

In MC/Ecommerce/Advanced configuration/Shopping cart - do you have "Recalculate a user's cart when the user logs in" in both local and server installation?

Also in the extranet group in the same settings screen, you have a "Do not replace existing cart when user logs in" - is it set?

Hi!

I do not have any of those checkboxes checked in any of the installations.

Should those checkboxes be checked for it to work properly?

Is there something else besides this that i can try?

You could set the checkbox that will remove the cart on login.

I will have this bugged.

Which checkbox do you mean?
The "Do not replace existing cart when user logs in"-checkbox?

Ive tried both of them set and not set, i still get the same errormessage.

I can give you access to our server so you can debug the problem there, if possible?
How do i send the credentials in that case? Mail?

Hi Dan

I'll have the service desk contact you. I've sent the problem for investigation with our QA so they can see if it can be reproduced and fixed.
