Search with Solr

I noticed that DW 8.5 contains a SolrNet assembly.

Is there a standard integration between DW and Solr?

Sounds interesting :)

I have previously implemented a custom search module based on Lucene.net (not using Solr). I was planning to implement a more advanced version, based on either Solr or Elasticsearch, but if you have something coming soon, it can wait. Let me know if you need someone to test your solution. I've also got tons of input from our customers about what search features they would like to have on their sites :)
