Hi we have implemented the out of the box search solution on a project and I was wondering how the search results are controlled. How are the results prioritised - is it by density of the search term in each page? Is greater weighting put on pages that have the search term in their page title? etc. Thanks Ian

Is it Weighted Search that you use?

If so, You can read about Weight in the manual:

Thank you for this - I didn't realise the weighting attributes were selectable in the module set-up. Do you know if age of the document plays a part too. We have noticed that new documents apprear at the top of the search results. Cheers Ian
