Hi Magni

You have X-number of languages - the countries are not translated, so if you are in a backend ecommerce context of a language where the countries are note translated, you will see blanks in the dropdown.

So either translate them to all languages or go to the country admin and change you backend ecommerce language context to danish, which is the only language you have created the countries in.

Hi Nicolai,

That was not quite the answer i was looking for, let me re-phrase it a bit.

Question: Is it not possible to have one default language for each shop in ecommerce ?

As i see it now, there is only possible to have 1 default for all shops. In our case is english set as the default language.

Hi Magni,

To re-phrase Nicolais answer...

If you dont see any countries in the dropdown on the website, then it is most likely because you have multiple ecom languages and you are currently viewing this website in an ecom language context without any translated countries. Either translate the countries OR change the current context language into a language where the countries are available.

This might help as well...

Languages

You can create languages and set one global default language in Management Center > Ecommerce > Internationalization > Languages

You can choose which languages should be available for a given shop and its default language in Management Center > Ecommerce > Product catalog > Shops > Edit shop

You can set the default language for a specific website in Websites > Edit website > Ecommerce > Language

Countries

You can create all the countries you need in Management Center > Ecommerce > Internationalization > Countries

- Important: You need to translate a country in order to make it visible/available in different language contexts.

You can set the default country for a specific website in Websites > Edit website > Ecommerce > Country

Thx Morten og Nicolai,

We dont see the language section i Shops > Edit shop. We probably need an additional module for this.

I dont have the overview of bought modules, so i will contact the partner.

Hi Magni

This functionality requires version 8.4.0.0 and the Multi Shop Advanced module..

Please see the manual here: http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Default.aspx?ID=7222

Kind Regards
