Hi,

 

We are having an odd behaviour. After searching (ecom) the results are not sorted, nor do they obey query parameters. Any idea why? We tried changing the order from ASC to DESC to make sure the parameters where working, and nothing happened.

 

It works correctly for the standard loops (without searching), and we are using 8.4.1.5

Doesn't seem like it. It is a basic search

It may be related, but I can't tell that from the bug descriptions

 

Can you test it to see if you have a better input than me?

We seem to have a bug on 8.4.1, TFS#15617.

We have devs on it already.

This bug will be fixed in the upcoming hotfix 8.4.1.16

The old Sortby is case sensitive so e.g.: SortBy=Price&SortOrder=desc

Hi Christian,

 

Thanks about the release.

 

About the case sensitive, I tested it in the solution set (http://solutionset.dynamicweb.dk/en-US/ProductList/Bikes/Mountain-bikes.aspx) and it is case insensitive. Will this feature changed? It might break in other solutions, including the solution set.

SortBy parameters case sensitivity has now also been removed in the hotfix.

The problem regarding "Using sortby and sortorder with ecomquery and no filters is broken" #15617 has now been resolved in version 8.4.1.16
