Ecom products linked to parent categories

Hi.. 

Would be great with some kind of option that when linking a product to a subcategory - the product would automatically be linked to the parent categories, so the product would be available from these in frontend. 

Parent category

- Subcategory 

-- Sub-subcategory (The product is linked here in backend)

Hi,

 

We actually have a bug that should have fixed just that: "After navigating to a group page the include subgroups checkbox no longer has any effect.". We will look into if this is not working as expected.

The above should work from Dynamicweb 8.4.0.17 and forward.
