I would like to have an option to redirect to a new product for a product that has been replaced. For example, I have a shop with a few products that are obsolete. Deactivating them returns a 404 which is good. But I would prefer to redirect the user to a replacement product instead. So I would like to have an option to redirect from, say
/Products/GroupName/Product-1
to something like:
/Products/GroupName/Product-2
when Product 1 has been deactivated.
The Direct Paths module doesn't currently handle this, but it would be great if it could be expanded to link from one product to another. Alternatively, a "Redirect to Product" field on the product could also solve this issue.
