Our clients webserver is having CPU load close to 90-100% for long period of time during sending newsletter with OMC.
img src=...MessageTracker.ashx is most likely causing heavy traffic. We are running 8.4.0.13.

Hopefully version 8.4.0.15  solves this problem, but what is new in 8.4.0.16  ?  Expected to find description here :

During/After sending 36000 newsletters the webserver received massive request to MessageTracker.ashx,possible from the mail-receivers previewing the e-mails. It looks like 8.4.0.15 has solved the performance issue.

I am still looking forward to see release notes for 8.4.0.16, this version has been available to download since 07/04/2014 without any release notes  ...

Well, since you say it, one of our servers has also experienced MASSIVE CPU load, after sending 40.000+ newsletters in a day.

Looking forward to when we have the time to test 8.4.0.15/16

8.4.0.16 was made public by mistake. It contains a minor change, made for internal reasons only. A 8.4.0.17 has been released today.

By mistake a missing flag kept fix from being published automatically. Problem fixed in 8.4.0.17:

"It's possible for Email Messaging to become stuck in a deadlock. When that happens it is no longer possible to send emails.The only current solution to this problem is to recycle the AppPool."

OK, very interessting, our client has reported some issues sending OMC-mails.

Does the fix in 8.4.0.17 cover NewsLetterV3 or OMC ?

It covers OMC. I am quite confident it has no effect on NewsletterV3.

We might want to put 8.4.0.17 into production-environment, but we have to wait for the Official Relase not for 8.4.0.17, I quess it will popup on

It is important to have these release-notes updated - it would be nice if that a part of the releaseprocessmiley

OK, thanks for the improvements on the release notes. 

Right now there is an release note for version 8.4.1.2, containing 2 bug fixes.  We would like pre-test these before deploying to our customers production environment - so we hurried into the download area, where the latest downloadable version is 8.4.1.0  cheeky  Where to find downloadable 8.4.1.2 ?
