Recently I was working with some extranet module. And had basically setup a customers access, registration, and more of all kind of input associated with user. Including custom fields if possible while you are there. :-)
I was thinking if it could be possible to setup some validation groups for users, simmilar to those that are in management center > ecommerce > Order > validation groups.
Instead of loading frontend with all kind of validation, rather than relying on bullet proof backend validation.
Just there is some basic rules for backend validation in module settings that are there by default, that is ok... I think those should be taken a bit further.
Not sure if today you can find any form that does not use some kind of validation. And it is not going out anywhere, so there will be more validation to addapt, and manage in future.
