Hi DW.

How do you properly use the device layouts ?

Ive registered a seperate layout, using a seperate master view for mobile devices on my page, but nonce of the "dwcontent" placeholders show up, and all the objects from the main PC view, is shown on the mobile view. How do you seperate this, so you can still use the same content, on a seperated mobile-view?

Hi Jonas

You need the same placeholders in the layout templates. If you have placeholders you do not wish to render on mobile devices, you can add a conditional on the placeholder using the IsDevice() tag: http://templates.dynamicweb-cms.com/TemplateTags/Dynamicweb-template-tags/General-tags/Global-template-tags/GlobalDevice-IsDevice.aspx

On a paragraph, on the option tab in the Ribbon, you can disable paragraphs for specific device types: http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Dynamicweb-On-line-Manual/Paragraphs/Paragraph-properties.aspx
