Deleting files *.xt

Hi Dw,

After importing files with the "Dataintegration" module I have files called: SHOP1-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xt for each import, but when is this files deleted?

The size of the file is up to 1 GB, so it would be fine to have these files deleted :-)

Hi Anders,

it is needed to select the "Delete source file" option for those file deletion.
The existing *.xt files should be deleted manually because the "Delete source file" option is not deleting all previous *.xt files.
Also the source file SHOP1.xml will be deleted after the job is finished.

Hi Dmitrij,

Oh, thanks! I was thinking that "delete source file" only would remove the "Shop1.xml"-file, but it sounds good that it also removes the transformed file.

Hi Dmitrij,

 

It seems like your suggestion doesn't do it, when running two jobs on the same import-file.

For the first job I cannot delete the source file, which means that the *.xt for the first job never will be removed, but will only be deleted for the second import task.

Hi Anders,
There was an item for this issue, it's number 14274(XMLProvider: XT files are not deleted after import is finished unless "delete source" is selected.) and it will be in 8.4.1 release.
