Hi,

I can't figure out how the delivery fees work.

I have set up a delivery fee where the fee is 100,00 and the volume limit is 20 m2 (I've changed the volume to be m2 instead of m3 in management center).

When i try to order/by a product with a complete volume of 19 m2 the delivery fee of 100,00 gets attached to the order. When i order a product with a complete volume of 21, the delivery fee still get's attached. Why?! :-)

What i really want to accomplish is that:

1) If the total volume of the order is from 0-7, the fee has to be 500,00

2) If the total volume is from 8-14, the fee has to be 250,00

3) If the total volume is from 15-20, the fee has to be 100,00

Is this possible to do?

Well, I've tested a lot myself. I tried to set up the following:

Fee: 100, Volume limit: 1

Fee: 250, Volume limit: 8

Fee: 500, Volume limit: 15

This works fine. The problem is, that I want the fee to get bigger when you only order a small amount of products. So instead the fees should be:

Fee: 100, Volume limit: 15

Fee: 250, Volume limit: 8

Fee: 500, Volume limit: 1

This doesn't work. The fee will always be 500, because it chooses the largest fee where the volume limit is met. E.g. if i order products with a total volume of 30, the fee will be 500 because 30 is larger than all volume limits - and then the largest fee is attached to the order.

Is there no way to turn this around?

It seems that the system assumes that the fee amount increases with the volume, i.e. the more you buy, the higher the fee. You should always pay the cheapest fee.

We'll investigate a make a fix.

Hi Mikkel,

That sounds good. When do you expect the fix to be done and available on the servers? Is it in weeks? Months?

The issue was bugged with TFS-13684. 
The bug is already fixed and will be available with hotfix 8.3.1.7.
