Image metatags

Hi,

In the File library you can right-click an image and then select Metatags.  This gives you the opportunity to add meta tags to the image, such as its title.  So far so good.

However, I want to use these meta tags in an Image Gallery, but I cannot find any Dynamicweb documentation on how to extract this meta data, or indeed what it is supposed to be used for.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please

Thanks

/David

Hi David

There are 2 gallery modules - the old one with system name ImageGallery and the new one with system name Gallery. The latter is the one that can do PDF Things.

The New version (Gallery) has template tags for the images specified in the metadata. They are named Gallery.Image.Metadata.*

Hope this helps

Thanks Nicolai,

That fixed my problem (when using the Gallery module) but I would really like to use this on any image I am placing on a page.  Will the new 8.3 snippets fix this ?
