I have the following news archives that I'm migrating to one new DW portal:

http://www.dofman.no/archive-308.aspx
Ideally I would like to take the news as they are from their respective databases, keep all asset links and data, and insert them to the new database while adding a new news category to each item (a category ID that exists in the new portal).
I can't locate any documentation on news as database objects. Can anyone point me in the general direction of such documentation, and/or provide some insight/examples and caveats I should be aware of when undertaking this?
