We would like to request the possibility to sort by customfields on productlists, by being able to extend which fields are sortable in some way.
There was a forum post about the issue here:
But the issue here is that it doesn't work with paged results only if you have the whole list on one page.
Problem is right now that we are forced to use the "standard" fields for sorting. This means that if we wanted to sort on some customvalue like "kilometers" we would have to use some of the standard fields for this. Its just seems wrong that when you sort by "kilometers" it would show "SortBy=weight" in the url etc.
If this possibility already exists i would like to know what can be done.
