Select multiple global elements

Hi.

 

A simple feature request (maybe it has been requestet before).

 

It would be a time saver to be able to select multiple global elements at a time.

Just like when you would move or copy multiple paragraphs.

Thanks for you request - we have heard it before, so we will add it to the list of requests - I can't tell you what exact release it will be available from.

Cool Peter - it was released in 8.3.1 so you can just start using it...

Nope, it was not. Just tested it, and there is another global elements multi-select, but that one is only half way. I went like "YES!" then "Nope, that was not what we asked for".

Look at the OT again. I bet you can figure out why that was not the entire solution ;)

I'm very sorry, but what you made, I have never ever asked for and I find it next to useless, compare to a "copy to global element" from the right-click menu on paragraphs.


In fact, if you made the right click "Copy to global element" I think the entire current global element menu-popup-thingie would be rendered obsolete? So, don't really see why that solution was not chosen in the first place.
