Login on masterpage with "remember me" funcion

Hi

I have implemented a login form on my masterpage, but can't get the "remember me function to work.

My form looks like this:

<form name="ExtUserForm" method="post" action="https://ekstranet.hvr.dk/?id=10116" class="loginForm" >

<input type="text" class="textfield" tabindex="1" name="username" value="<!--@Global:Extranet.Username-->" placeholder="E-mailadresse" />
<input type="password" class="textfield" tabindex="2" name="password" value="<!--@Global:Extranet.Password-->" placeholder="Kodeord" />

Husk brugernavn <input type="checkbox" value="True" class="checkbox" name="DWExtranetUsernameRemember" id="DWExtranetUsernameRemember" <!--@DWExtranetUsernameRemember-->

Husk kodeord <input type="checkbox" value="True" class="checkbox" name="DWExtranetPasswordRemember" id="DWExtranetPasswordRemember" <!--@DWExtranetPasswordRemember-->

<input type="submit" tabindex="3" value="Log ind" class="loginButton">

<div class="popUpPasswordBoxText"><a href="#">Glemt kodeord?</a></div>
</form>

The login works, but does'nt remember me and with this code i get the tag:"<!--@DWExtranetUsernameRemember-->" in my username form field, and not my actual user name.

Help please :-)

/Rune

Hi Rune

That is because the template tag you use, are part of extranet login template (the one you set on a pages properties). Those tags are not rendered as part of the layout template as you have inserted your template into.

I see that is not the wanted solution, and I have registered a feature request for that for 8.3. It has item number TFS 12033.

Until then, only way is to use JS to read and write some cookies.

BR Nicolai.
