Store creditcard information on extranet user

Hi DWs

 

know this is a lot, but never the less a feature request from a client:

 

"The webshop should have the ability to store a creditcard on a user account, so the user can make one-click-shopping (like amazon).

This would generate conversions and loyalty."

 

It would surely require ultra safe storage in DB and SSL in transfer to DIBS. But it would be a unique product in DW Ecom.

Hi Peter - I don't think this feature should be in Dynamicweb. As you say it would require another security setup (and a PCI certification) in Dynamicweb but it would also be implementing a feature that already exists when using e.g. DIBS etc.

I would recommend you asking a payment provider for this feature.

Hi Asger

 

Ok, the thought was that the user could access their profile on a shop, and edit/store a creditcard to be used on that shop. (like Amazon).

 

I realize that the security set up would be massive..

 

I will talk to DIBS about this also :-)
